Well, it has finally arrived! Time for the first annual Ride and Shoot!
It is this Saturday the 7th of June and starts at Beavertail HIll State Park.
You go about 25 miles East on Int 90 to the Beavertail Rd exit. You can turn left and go back under the freeway to the Beavertail Pond area which has alot of parking available. You can also park at the bottom of the exit rd on the right side by the railroad tracks.
There will be at least 3 of us camping Friday and Saturday night at the State Park.
The ride is no more than 60 miles unless we all want to take a side trip but would still be under 80. It is all roads and very easy for any experience of rider. Atv’s and any side by sides will work great!
I would plan on bringing a lunch and the weather sounds great!
We will likely be doing a ride on Sunday across the Freeway to go exploring, we can all talk about that on Saturday. Bring extra gas if riding on Sunday!!
The ride will leave from Beavertail Hill State Park (South side of Freeway) at 10am on Saturday. There is plenty of room to gather at the Park and then leave from there.
This is a Ride and Shoot! There will be approximately 18 targets that you will need to find along the ride, stop, shoot the target and keep track of how many you found and shot. I will set the targets at a relatively close distance so you can use a hand gun if you want to. It does not matter what kind of gun as long as it slings lead!! It will be safe as the targets will have good back stops. You do not have to shoot! You can just come for the ride also. (Jane)
